Frequently asked questions
Is enrollment open?
No. The academy is currently in development. Enrollment dates will be announced after required approvals, partnerships, equipment, and funding are secured.
Where will training be located?
The planned program will be based in or near Seguin, Texas. A final location has not yet been announced.
How long will the program be?
The initial program is being designed as an intensive four-week CDL training course. The final schedule may vary.
Will East 2 West provide the CDL skills test?
Students will initially be prepared to test through the Texas Department of Public Safety or another approved provider. East 2 West may pursue third-party testing authorization in the future.
What funding or payment options may be available?
The company plans to pursue workforce funding, scholarships, veteran programs, employer sponsorships, grants, and payment options. Assistance will depend on eligibility and available resources.
Are jobs guaranteed?
No. East 2 West plans to provide job-placement support and employer connections, but employment cannot be guaranteed.
